REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN 

Job Types:  

  • Full-time 

  • Contract 6:00am – 2:30pm (Overtime available) 

 

Pay up to $50.00 an hour 

*Pay is negotiable and based on experience* 

 

Schedule: 

  • 8-hour shifts 

  • Opportunities for overtime 

 

Education & experience: 

  • Preferred high school or equivalent 

  • Preferred 5 or more years HVAC 

 

License/Certification: 

  • Driver’s License 

  • OSHA 10 

  • EPA 

  • Preferred Refrigeration Tech License 

 

Work is at multiple locations and a willingness to travel is 100% preferred.

Requirements: 

  • Ability to multitask 

  • Experience with management of 3-6 employees 

  • Coming to work everyday ONTIME 

  • Run refrigeration piping for mini splits, VRF systems, Condensers, etc. 

  • Pipe branch boxes 

  • Braze and Kpress refrigeration pipe  

  • Testing pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks 

  • Testing electrical circuits or components for continuity 

  • Calculate amount of refrigerant needed per system 

  • Experience with Diamond Builder, Lennox, Daikin Software 

  • Installing new HVAC equipment: Boilers, VRF, Mitsubishi units, Fan coil units, Cooling towers, Air rotation units, Rooftop units, Exhaust Fans, Baseboard, etc. 

  • Connecting HVAC equipment to fuel, water, or refrigerant sources 

  • Able to read blueprints 

  • Assembling, positioning, and mounting HVAC equipment 

  • Cutting or drilling holes in buildings structure 

  • Cutting, grooving pipether  

  • Must have own hand tools 

  • Must be able to pass a background/drug test

COMMERCIAL HVAC INSTALLER

EXPERIENCE COMMERCIAL HVAC INSTALLER WANTED TO WORK WITH US

We started our company in 2009. It is a family owned/woman owned business. We provide commercial installations of multi-residential, warehouses, car dealerships, grow facilities, senior living facilities, and industrial buildings. We are located in Millville, MA. Our area of operation is from Springfield to Boston and Garnder/Haverhill to the Cape Cod Canal. Employees report directly to the jobsite daily. Commuting is required.

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in Commercial HVAC systems installation.

​

Duties:

--Installer will be responsible for installing new/replacement equipment in commercial heating and air conditioning applications.

--Installer will be expected to work on a variety of projects and tasks related to the HVAC trade: Commercial Rooftop, Chillers, Boilers, VAV, Make-Up Air, VRF Systems, Ductless One to One systems, Gas furnaces, Air Handlers, Exhaust and Radiant Heating Equipment.

--Install Ductwork, Condensate Drains, Hydronic Piping, Venting, Refrigerant Piping, & Insulation.

--HVAC Service experience a plus

--Line and Low Voltage Wiring, controls, and programming a plus

--Other job/field related tasks as required: brazing, threading pipe, soldering, and welding.

--Interpret construction drawings and cut sheets in the field.

--Installer will be expected to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.

--Installer will be expected to provide their own hand tools necessary to complete daily tasks., including battery operated tools and tin snips

--Installer must be competent with the preparation, testing and start-up of new HVAC equipment.

--Installer will be expected to follow all established and normal safety precautions while on the job and hold an OSHA 10 Certification.

--Installer will be expected to perform physical activities and occasionally lift items up to 50 lbs.

--Installer will be expected to be present and on-time for scheduled workdays Monday through Friday.

--Installer will report to and take direction from the Foreman/lead person on the project and follow all established company policies and procedures.

--Installer may occasionally be asked to cross train/work within the Plumbing division when necessary.

 

Pay: $20.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week + overtime available

***SIGN ON BONUS $1500 IF YOU SIGN ON BY AUGUST 15TH (Must be employed for 6 months to be eligible for bonus)
